How we use your data.
Short version: the Edmonds Instructor Hub is a small teaching site run by Chris, Mark, and Jennifer Edmonds. We don't sell data, don't share it with third parties, and don't run ads. Nothing on this page is a dark pattern.
What we collect
- If you sign up: your email address, the display name you enter, the role you pick, and (optionally) which textbook you teach. We use your email domain as your “school.”
- When you use the site while signed in: which pages you view, what you save, what you love, and any feedback you submit. We use this to see what content is landing and to improve the site.
- Anonymous visitors: we record a per-day anonymous fingerprint (hash of your IP + user-agent + a daily-rotating salt) so we can count unique daily visits without cookies or identifiable data.
What we don't collect
No tracking cookies, no third-party analytics, no cross-site trackers. We don't know who you are unless you sign in. We don't sell or share any of this with third parties.
We only email you if you check the “email me updates” box during signup, and then only occasional updates from the author team — new cases, teaching tips, and features. Every email has an unsubscribe link. Transactional emails (magic-link sign-in) go regardless.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account and everything tied to it — profile, saves, loves, feedback — at My hub → Settings. One click, no email required, no waiting.
